Youth Tournament

One Canadian youth will be selected to represent Canada in the World Youth Go competition. From the entries in the main draw (section A - 6 dan and up) the top youth will be selected according to score. If there are no eligible youth then the open section then other eligible youth will be considered. The tournament committee will schedule games as required to determine the winner.

Eligibility: Players must be under 18 as of August 1, 2006 and Canadian citizens, to qualify.

Note that the youth entry fee has been reduced to $30.

Registration: Players must register their interest in this competition on the registration form.

Time Limits: Same as the Canadian Open.
